Expansion into Productivity Training with Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 Fundamental Courses: We are introducing five fundamental courses covering essential Microsoft 365 applications:
Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams: Each course is designed to deepen understanding and proficiency, including a quiz and training certificate upon successful completion (80% or higher). These courses will not affect a user’s ESS. These courses will be accessible in the Training tab, empowering users with the knowledge to leverage Microsoft 365 more effectively.
Microsoft 365 Cybersecurity Training: A dedicated cybersecurity course for Microsoft 365 has been developed to enhance users' cybersecurity awareness regarding core Microsoft 365 products. This comprehensive course includes a quiz and offers a training certificate upon successful completion (80% or higher), along with the opportunity for bonus ESS points. Available in the Training tab, this course underscores our commitment to combining productivity with security.
In addition to Microsoft 365 Training, we're offering Google Cybersecurity Training. Reflecting our dedication to serving clients across platforms, we're offering a Google Cybersecurity course that includes a quiz and training certificate upon successful completion (80% or higher), along with the chance to earn bonus ESS points.
While most employees utilize Microsoft 365 at work, many use Google tools such as Gmail, Docs and Sheets in their personal lives. The Google Cybersecurity Training will help strengthen their skills when utilizing Google tools.
PII Protect Teams App
To further integrate learning into our daily work environment, we have launched a Microsoft Teams App. This app represents a significant step forward in making our training platform more accessible and engaging.
Employees can access their Dashboard and the Newsfeed directly through the app, ensuring that learning resources are just a click away.
The app enables users to take training directly within Teams and receive notifications about new training opportunities, including Micro Trainings, Newsletters, and Nanos.
The PII Protect App will be available to BPP, HIPAA BPP, and EVA MD clients as well as partners’ internal account. Deployment requires Azure Active Directory Sync to be enabled.
Note that users must access the app for the first time to start getting notifications via Teams.
PII Protect Teams App Deployment
The PII Protect Teams App can be deployed by Partner Admins via the ‘Manage Clients’ screen, a new column ‘Teams App’ has been added.
Partner Admins can see the status of their Teams App deployment for clients in the ‘Teams App’ column and click on the icon to deploy and send out reminder notifications that Teams is available.
Red X – Indicates Teams has not been deployed yet, or users have not accessed the Teams app. Partner Admins can click this icon to access deployment instructions and send an email notification to users that the Teams App is available.
Please note this red X will remain until at least 1 user has accessed the Teams app.
Percentage of users who have accessed the app – After 1 user has accessed the app, this column will display the % of users who have accessed the app and are eligible to receive notifications. Partner Admins can click this icon for a list of users who have not accessed the app and resend the reminder email notification to these users.
Green Check – When all users have accessed the app and are eligible to receive notifications, a Green Check will display in this column.
A banner with Teams App deployment status has also been added when viewing the ‘Dashboard’ tab for a client in ‘Manage Clients’. This banner will have the same functionality outlined above to access deployment instructions and send out reminder emails to users that the app is available.
Newsfeed Enhancements
To make it simpler for users to find relevant training content, we've upgraded the Newsfeed to support groups and popular #hashtags. This enhancement is aimed at streamlining the search process, allowing users to quickly access training on specific topics of interest.
Comprehensive Reporting
We've introduced a "Full Training Report" in XLS format. This report will provide detailed results from all active training courses, offering partners and clients an in-depth view of progress and achievements.
Flexible Training Configuration
Partners now have the flexibility to unpublish or delay the publication of both Microsoft 365 and Google Cybersecurity Training. This feature ensures that partners can tailor the training rollout to align with their clients' specific schedules and readiness.
Partners can apply these publication settings globally across all clients or tailor them for individual clients.
