After deploying the PII Protect Teams App, you can check deployment statistics and send notifications to users to begin using the app.
1. Log into the PII Protect portal with your Partner Administrator credentials and navigate to the Manage Clients view.
2. Using the available presets, select either the Account Overview or Deployment Stats view.
3. The Teams App column provides insight into the deployment statistics for the PII Protect Microsoft Teams app for each client.
- An N/A indicates that the client is not eligible for the Teams app which requires:
- A valid product: BPP, HIPAA BPP, EVA MD, or Partner HIPAA Compliance
- and Azure Active Directory Sync
- A Red X indicates the client is eligible for the Teams app but either does not have it deployed or that no users have accessed the application.
- A 0-100% indicates the Teams app has been deployed and the % displayed represents how many users have successfully accessed the app for the first time.
For clients with a Red X, click the icon to open the deployment window. The first step is to complete the PII Protect Teams App deployment steps. If this has been completed, proceed to step 2 to notify all users within the client about the app's availability. This will send an email to all active users with information on the new Teams app and how to access it.
For clients with a 0-100% displayed, this indicates the Teams app has been deployed to the client but only the percentage displayed have accessed the app to activate it. Click on the percentage to view the list of users who have not accessed the app to send them a reminder to access the app. You can remove users from this sending list by clicking the trashcan icon next to their name. When ready, click the Send Reminder button to send an email to all listed users with information on the new Teams app and how to access it.
When the Teams App is deployed, the end user will also see a banner upon their next login to the portal if they haven't accessed the Teams app yet. The message will prompt them to access the app with a direct link for fast access.
